This game requires the Shockwave Plug-in, which you do not seem to have... Hair's NotesI went through a hardcore DHTML phase and did a breakout ripoff that really showcased it's versatility. The problem was that it only worked in MS Internet Explorer. When called up in Netscape, it looked like a horrible mistake in web design or a storehouse of random images for some unknown project. However, I learned quite a bit about graphic manipulation that came in right handy when I started learning Lingo.Because I learn by doing, I used the opportunity to learn Lingo by remaking Spiff Ball, only cool this time. I added some stuff that I thought would be interesting - moving bricks, weird art as targets, drunken Spiffs, etc. The whole shooting match is a whopping 45 levels that are randomly accessed as each level is completed, making it more of a "Survival Breakout" than a "Clear The Bricks Breakout". As far as I know, this is a new perspective for the Breakout rip-off genre. If you enjoy the web version even just a little, it is worth it to download the full version. When I had to pare it down for the web, I ended up cutting a bunch of the things that made it cool in the first place. Now it's just very similar to any other Breakout rip-off.Designed August 1998 (as DHTML game). Coded & tweaked July - August 1999. Hair's High Score: 123,500 (full version)
