Hair's Notes
This stupidly addictive little game was the first one that just came to me and ended up getting designed and written in one night. I would end up writing several things like that. A lot of the object movement code was already part of my ever-expanding behavior library. The polygon graphics are completely faked; they are pictures of polygon graphics. But, that's one of the design things I like best about this one.
To date, I have not beat it and I wrote the stupid thing. I was thinking of making it easier, but I've found that I'm a little obsessed with trying to get it in it's present form. So far, my high is 14th level, 4 level short of victory. Ouch. I have discovered, however, that the smaller your RAM, the easier the game is when the balls start really flying.
If you manage to actually beat this game, send us an e-mail and we'll start a list. Hell, we'll even throw you a copy of whatever garbage we have around these days at our cost. All you have to include is what it says in the finale scene when you win.
Designed and coded November 25, 1999. Hair's High Score: Level 14, 7 "ticks" until next ball
